SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

Sustainability initiatives across our portfolio, with focus on clean energy and recycling, that enable our tenants to enjoy an efficient and eco-friendly working environment

CAPTIVE POWER GENERATION

We provide clean and un-interrupted supply of power to our Clients and constantly innovate to reduce energy consumption per square feet. We ensure optimal usage of power, through energy efficient chillers, heat recovery wheels and efficient pumps and motors. A detailed monitoring of the consumption is undertaken through the Integrated Building Management System. We generate renewable power through solar photovoltaic (PV) modules on our rooftops in Hyderabad, which are slated to be replicated across campuses. As part of our distribution licensee business within our SEZ, we also buy green energy for our clients and have installed LED lights and fixtures across the campus.

WASTE COMPOSTING

We follow the mantra reduce-recycle-reuse. Right from the time of construction waste generated is intelligently reused, reducing burden on the city infrastructure and dumping grounds. Debris generated is logically used within the campus itself. Upon occupancy, dry waste is recycled, and wet waste is composted, and reused as part of the integrated sustainable waste management program. Installation of organic waste composters across all campuses is underway, which will assemble all cafeteria and food waste to a central location and convert in into manure, used for landscaping within the campus.

ORGANIC FARMING

The highly efficient soil amendment that is produced by the effective dry waste composting plant has paved the way to the development of the Organic Farm that has been set up on campus. The farm sees high engagement from employees, who visit it to enjoy the varied flora. The farm also produces a variety of vegetables, medicinal plants and fruits.

WATER EFFICIENCY

Real time monitoring is undertaken for each sewage treatment plant, and in more recent projects through IoT, and sensors which check quality of the recycled and treated water. Optimizing water efficiency at the campus level, we deploy several technologies such as, rainwater harvesting, recycling and reuse of treated water for flushing and gardening, low-flow fixtures, and sensors which monitor the inlet-outlet of all water sources. Lower water wastage in our business parks has led to lower sewage volumes, reduced dependency on municipal water, and reduced water bills.
