About LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design)The company has decided to have their projects as LEED [Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design ] certified GREEN BUILDINGS from the Indian Green Building Council. This concept of "Green Buildings"has originated in the United States nearly a decade and a half ago.
It essentially lays emphasis on usage of environmentally friendly building materials, effective waste management and efficient energy systems that can substantially reduce or eliminate negative environmental impacts and improve existing unsustainable design, construction and operational practices. For Eg usage of Double Glazing for external facades with the specified U value of Glass, Utilising alternative sources of energy(Solar Power), HFC refrigerants for Airconditioning and many more.
